Is Tomodachi Life available on Android?
Nintendo has not released an official Android edition of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. Nintendo's official release is for the Nintendo Switch family of systems.
Match4Mobile covers an independent Android mobile listing. The current listing shown on the main game page is version 1.1 and is presented separately from Nintendo's official Switch release.
Tomodachi Life Android requirements
The current Android listing requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or newer and lists a 220 MB APK package. Keep additional storage available because installed game data can use more space than the package itself.
- Android 8.0 or newer
- 220 MB listed APK size
- Enough free storage for the package plus installed data
- A supported Android phone or tablet
How to start the Android download
Open the main Tomodachi Life Mobile page and choose Download Android. The download card prepares the selected platform for about three seconds, then shows the verification step when it is ready.
Read the instructions shown on your device before continuing. Match4Mobile does not present this independent listing as an official Nintendo or Google Play release.
Is Tomodachi Life on Google Play?
There is no official Nintendo Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream app on Google Play. If you see Android listings using the Tomodachi name, treat them as separate third-party or independent mobile listings unless Nintendo identifies them as official.
Android troubleshooting basics
If the package does not install, first confirm your Android version and free storage. If Android blocks an APK, review the source and your device's installation permissions rather than disabling security protections broadly.
- Confirm Android 8.0+ before downloading
- Check available storage before installation
- Restart the browser or device if the download stalls
- Keep Android security protections enabled and review any warning before installing
