I am interested in Slay The Spire 2 mostly for the combat. For people already playing, is the difficulty fair or does it become frustrating too fast?

The best early advice is to focus on movement and timing first. Once you stop rushing every fight, the combat usually feels much fairer.

Slay The Spire 2 got better for me once I stopped attacking nonstop. Watching enemy patterns first made the fights feel way more manageable.
